I have developed an expertise in psychotherapy in my career of over 20 years. I am a clinical professor, a clinical supervisor and a board certified psychiatrist. I attended Harvard Medical School and continued at Harvard for my psychiatric training.

The integrated care that I practice can be a particularly effective combination. Psychotherapy enables us to have a deep understanding of you and your symptoms resulting in more effective prescribing. The medication is assessed to both optimize our therapeutic work and to determine if anything in your medication regimen is blocking your therapeutic progress. The overall result is safer treatment with more rapid improvements.

We will use outcomes measures to track the effectiveness of our work together to try to ensure that this is an effective, transformative, beneficial treatment.

I have extensive training in several psychotherapy modalities: namely IFS (Internal Family Systems), AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), and ISTDP (Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy). I have been a supervisor and trainer in AEDP. I did my Core Training in ISTDP with Allan Abbass. I have expertise with anxiety, chronic problems, stress related physical symptoms, and in supporting weight loss.
